We are truly grateful for your wonderful fundraising in support of Charlie House – your kindness makes a huge difference to the children and families we support.
Charlie House now supports more than 140 families throughout the north-east by arranging fun and inclusive activities for everyone in the family to enjoy so they can live life to the full and make precious memories to treasure. Our children and family support team also provide emotional and practical support for the whole family, making the transition from hospital to home as easy as it can be, and giving vital pre and post bereavement support when a child passes away. Your donation is helping us to be there to support local families.

They’re there for families like ours every single day—for parents, siblings, grandparents, and carers. They bring comfort, community, and joy when everything feels overwhelming. Throughout 2024 we delivered a total of 166 activities to over 450 individuals. From cinema trips and bowling to ice skating and paddleboarding, our families had the most incredible experiences this year. Giving them the opportunity to break from their relentless caring routine, create precious memories, and simply have fun together as a family! We wouldn’t be able to deliver our vital services and make the difference for these local families without fundraising like yours.
