Solemnity of St Joseph

Today, the 19th of March, is the Solemnity of St Joseph.

It also marks one year since the suspension of Public Masses and of the suspension of the obligation to attend. We look forward to returning to Mass on the 27th of this month.

Here is a beautiful Prayer by Pope Francis for this Solemnity:

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,
Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father
and guide us in the path of life.
Obtain for us grace, mercy, and courage,
and defend us from every evil.  Amen.

The Return to Mass at Trinity

The Bishops Conference and the Scottish Government have agreed that, assuming that there is no deterioration in the situation with the virus between now and then, communal worship will resume in Scotland on Friday 26th March.

For our purposes, this means that we will return for the Vigil Mass on the 27th of March.

We return with the previous restrictions in force, which you can view more about here and here.

Booking forms will be made available closer to the time.
